I used to be an architect — the kind who thrived in fast-paced studios, coordinated engineering teams, and spent years designing purposeful spaces. I loved the creativity, the structure, and the problem-solving. But when my kids were little, I began to feel the tension between an intense architectural career and the slower, more meaningful family life I longed for. Then I discovered homeschooling — the best-kept secret in the world. Our days shifted from deadlines and congestion to fresh air, time to open my Bible each morning, busy boxes, nature walks, Lego engineering, building bridges, marble runs, books, curiosity, and connection. It was a life I didn’t know existed — a life that finally felt life-giving, enriching, grounding, restorative, and beautifully healthy for our whole family. I began creating my own unit studies — STEM-rich, visually clear, nature-anchored, hands-on, faith-infused learning experiences built for children who learn in beautifully diverse ways. Every skill I once used as an architect — design logic, systems thinking, visual planning, engineering reasoning — quietly found a new purpose in the homeschool setting. And now, I’m so excited to be sharing these resources with families like yours. My hope is that each unit study invites your child into wonder—nurturing curiosity, sparking creativity, and supporting neurodiverse thinkers in a way that feels calm, achievable, and joy-filled. These unit studies are thoughtfully crafted learning experiences designed by a mum who understands the desire for resources that are adaptable, respectful of different learning styles, and genuinely supportive of diverse minds. Designed as learning adventures to nurture a lifelong love of learning while creating a home that feels lighter, more connected, and beautifully inspired. Welcome to Peacefulmom Homeschool — I’m so glad you’re here. xxx Michelle M.Arch, BSc.Arch
